The Shock Sleeve Pro Knee Gasket by Ennui may not provide the same extent of protection as a hard-capped, thickly padded protector, but it offers superb freedom of movement for all your action sports activities.
This design incorporates a stretchable knitted cotton sleeve with internal silicone strips to prevent slipping, ensuring a snug fit that keeps the pads securely in position. These pads utilize an innovative material known as SPC, developed by the collaborative efforts of Ennui/Powerslide's team and the creators at MyFit, renowned for producing skate liners for Powerslide.
SPC efficiently absorbs impacts and disperses the force across the construction, significantly reducing joint impact. The Pro variant includes an abrasion-resistant Kevlar coating, offering greater flexibility, comfort, and protection compared to the non-pro version, enabling even more freedom of movement.
The soft-shell design offers distinct advantages, including lightweight protection that can be discreetly worn beneath everyday clothing, allowing for both style and complete protection.
Beyond impact protection, the pro version also defends against slides, thanks to its high abrasion-resistant Aramid fibre cover. It is a savvy choice for downhill longboarders and speed skaters. Additionally, the pro model is marginally lighter than the non-pro version, virtually weightless.
