Killer Plates

The Roll-Line Killer plates for roller derby skates present an unparalleled selection for those wishing to enhance their derby plates to a nimble and featherlight configuration. The base is crafted from a unique lightweight aluminium alloy, with the trucks constructed from steel. The design centres around a cross brace structure, ensuring superb structural integrity while keeping the weight to a minimum.

The trucks have varying angles to optimize performance in several aspects. A greater front axle angle helps the skater initiate turns more effortlessly and with reduced pressure. Conversely, a lower rear axle angle enhances stability and maintains centring during turns.

The Killer plates incorporate Roll-Line's exceptional cushions, which are initially configured with medium hardness at the factory.

Featuring a click action adjustment system, achieving uniform plate tension has never been simpler. Adjust the nut until you hear a distinct click, then count each click until the trucks are perfectly positioned; repeat this process on the other plate to ensure even results. For smoother steering while reversing, it is advised to set the rear kingpin nuts one click looser than the front truck.

The plates are equipped with the Ambra Super Professional toe stopper, made from natural rubber that doesn't leave marks on floors. The natural rubber also provides excellent grip for swift directional changes or abrupt stops.

This particular model has 8mm axles and utilises a metric thread in the toe stop mounts.
