The Chaya skates are ideal for those new to roller derby. They provide a fantastic platform while remaining budget-friendly. The boot is designed with very soft materials and even softer padding to ensure a comfortable fit. Constructed from a composite material, it's easy to care for and scratch-resistant. The boot's low-cut design allows for optimal manoeuvrability.

The Shari 3.0 plate featured on the Ruby skates combines nylon and fibreglass, ensuring durability, lightweight, and high resistance to wear. It can be mounted to most Chaya boots using the Dual Centre Mounting system, allowing you to adjust the boot's angle to suit your specific riding style. The Power toe system offers increased power, speed, and control, maintaining slight pre-tension in your muscles for quicker reactions.

This particular Ruby setup does not use the DCM mounting system. Instead, it is secured with a classic 4 bolt setup.

The trucks are crafted from aluminium with a 20º angle.

The Octo Paseo wheels on the Ruby Soft feature a 78A durometer, designed to give beginners an easy skating experience across various surfaces. If you plan on using these skates exclusively for indoor derby, consider opting for harder wheels that might be more suitable for such environments.

With the Cherry Toe stopper, you gain increased control and manoeuvrability. The semi-soft Jelly Interlock bushings strike a balance between comfort and control. The Wicked ABEC7 bearings ensure smooth rolling speed.
