Customizing the Mouthguard: Caution! Boiling water poses a risk!

1. Bring water to a boil, then let it cool for 30 seconds before immersing the adult guard for 70 seconds. (Immerse for 30 seconds for Youth model)

2. Remove the guard from water using a spoon, shake off water, and immediately place it centred over your upper teeth. (The guard should be warm)

3. Centre the upper teeth, bite down gently, and remove air and excess water from the guard using your tongue. You may also push the guard into place externally using fingers.

4. Keep the guard in your mouth for 30 seconds, then remove and rinse it under cold water.

5. If the fit isn't ideal, repeat the process for better results.

6. If the guard feels slightly large, use a knife to trim the ends as needed.
