Description

From the original innovators of what was once the groundbreaking Standard Compression System (SCS) emerges a fresh take on this remarkable compression type. Proto has revamped the SCS, leading to the creation of the Sentinel. This pro scooter clamp boasts a robust and straightforward design.

The Sentinel is the culmination of 8 years working with SCS, showcasing numerous enhancements over earlier models. A primary focus was enhancing the support for the trending taller bars. This is achieved through a series of refinements. The bar support area measures a full 2 inches, offering 30% more stability compared to its predecessors.

Proto opted for 8mm bolts with 6mm heads on the clamp. An offset slit is employed, delivering additional receiving action, which contributes to the robust and enduring connection.

Finally, Proto included a threaded slot for easy access to the spreader bolt, eliminating the necessity of the "penny" trick when tightening SCS compression configurations.
