G13 Speed Skate Wheel

Advanced wheels designed for speed skating. These are crafted with the four-component TR3 system called "Core improvement" and G13 Polyurethane. Matter laboratories, in conjunction with the Powerslide Matter racing team, are very confident that these wheels will dominate both track and road racing for years to come.

The G13 PU assures excellent grip without sacrificing roll, and provides a great pop out of the turns. It incorporates S.E.R.T. technology, short for Stored Energy Ring Technology. This innovation is best explained by the engineer behind the wheel, Neal Piper:

"A key element in any inline racing wheel is the transition layer that connects a softer structure with a much harder mounting base. This is a critical zone for energy management in a wheel. At this essential hinge or pivot point, the power of the push and the “stored rotational energy” within the deflected tyre cannot be lost. If a transition or mounting layer between the PU tyre and the sturdier plastic hub is designed properly, it enables a perfect equilibrium between tyre flexibility and energy release throughout the entire wheel."
