The design of these skis embodies the philosophy behind DPS's Paddle Tech solution. This entails a tapering design, sidecut, and flex pattern that harmoniously balance the skis for optimal freeride performance.

Additionally, the Zelda 106 skis boast the Foundation construction. This construction combines carbon, bamboo, poplar, and fibreglass. The bamboo and poplar core, encased above and below with strands of carbon and triaxial fibreglass, delivers an excellent mix of power and dampness, which are ideal characteristics for tackling a wide range of snow conditions including hard pack, crud, and soft deep powder.
