This model, the ST (Short Turns), is ideal for skiers who seek high speeds with rapid short turns. To achieve this, the Hero Elite skis are constructed with a poplar wood core and incorporate Titanal.

For those skiing at fast paces, utmost control and maximum stability over the skis are essential. Rossignol has incorporated LCT technology into the Hero Elite skis to provide these features. LCT (Line Control Technology) involves an integrated line within the skis' core—a sort of central sidewall that reduces counter-flex and mitigates its adverse effects—to enhance stability and superior comfort when turning. This addition results in more predictable and accurate turn initiation.

These alpine race skis feature an oversized sidecut, sidewalls, a flat tail, and camber, components that ensure a powerful, dynamic, and fast racing performance.
