| "I had watched many videos before purchasing and I would say that this pair of skates are perfect for the new skater. The fit is lovely, I have generally narrow feet, but the ball of my foot is wide and these are a sturdy boot that fit really well. I feel like the wider section of my foot is very snug, but I'm not in any discomfort and I haven't suffered any blistering and I have now used them for around 4 hours. I needed to adjust the wheels to untighten them slightly as all the wheels didn't move freely when I got them, but with that adjustment they are so smooth and lovely to use. I felt a little worried about the sizing as I sized my foot with mm and not my shoe size and it was much different, but these fit exactly correct. I have an injury to my foot and I had been worried that the heeled boot style would aggravate it (as I cannot wear heels anymore), but so far these are very comfortable! | "They were delivered extremley quickly - I placed the order April 6th and by April 9th I received my delivery. I really love these skates! The build quality is great in my opinion, but I'm also new to the world of roller skating so I can't compare them to anything else. The plates are nylon, and not plastic, so they are quite sturdy and the boot is stiff so it provides ankle support which I find pretty important for beginner skaters. I changed out my wheels to the moxi gummy outdoor wheels and loosened my trucks a bit and they feel incredible outside. I've recommended them to a couple of my friends who want to get into skating as well. Overall really good quality skates and if you're a beginner skater these are a solid buy! Also I recommend following the sizing chart so you get the right size. I measured my feet in millimeters and I was a size 5 in the roller skates (6.5 US in shoes) and they are the perfect fit - not too loose, and not too tight." | |
