Sbound 112 Crown/Easy Skin Cross Country Skis

The Sbound 112 are the widest off-track cross country skis from Fischer. These backcountry touring skis feature sidecut dimensions of 112/78/95. By selecting these skis, you gain stability and control across various snow conditions. Due to their width, they provide better flotation in deep snow compared to standard narrower cross-country skis. They also incorporate the Nordic Rocker Camber design, which raises the tips slightly to enhance gliding capabilities in deep snow.

This model is equipped with crowns, which is a pattern in the kick zone offering good grip without the need for kick waxing. To increase grip further, you can attach Easy Skins, which are available for purchase separately. Skins remain one of the most effective methods for gaining grip when skiing off-track.

Steel edges are included to ensure control on icy hardpack snow terrains.

Recommendation: Opt for skis that accommodate the skier's weight and are about 5-15cm taller than the skier's height.
