Steps for Installing EST Bindings
This video will guide you through the process of setting up EST bindings on your snowboard. Burton EST bindings utilize the channel system, which is among the most popular snowboard binding systems today:
- Begin by ensuring that your binding is an EST model, identifiable by its channel insert.
- Use a flat screwdriver to detach the rubber cover from the channel.
- Place the EST mounting hardware into the channel.
- It is now time to unfold your binding.
- Remember, the board suggests a specific mounting position.
- Position your binding to match the hardware you placed earlier.
- Press down on the channel insert to lock it within the channel.
- Using a Phillips screwdriver, begin fastening the supplied screws to the board. Leave them slightly loose for now.
- The binding should still glide effortlessly at this stage.
- Adjust the binding according to the markers on the board.
- Finally, tighten the screws completely and replace the rubber cover.
Your bindings are now installed!
