Guide to Building Your Own Custom Skateboard

- Begin by removing the backing from the griptape
- Secure the griptape to the deck, starting from one end and smoothing it upwards
- Score the griptape with an Allen key or screwdriver
- Trim away the extra griptape using a box knife, cutting upwards at approximately a 45° angle
- Utilize the coarse side of the leftover griptape to smooth the edges
- Form holes in the griptape for the bolts using an Allen key or screwdriver
- Insert the bolts into the holes
- Align the trucks with the four bolts
- Attach and tighten the locking nuts in a cross-diagonal sequence
- Follow the procedure again for the second truck
- Use the truck axle to affix the wheel bearings
- Ensure speed rings are placed at both the top and bottom
- Tighten the locking nut, ensuring the wheel spins effortlessly
- Replicate the procedure for the other wheels
