| "Bought these skates a few months ago for my son (@carsononwheels) who is 8 and he has transitioned well from his Bauer in-lines. The boot is expandable and there is some room to grow. The abec-9 bearings were replaced with Better Bearings and what a difference they make since these skates are much heavier than his old ones. The one thing we would change with this skate is a better quality ankle buckle. It keeps coming loose and constantly needs to be tightened. So we replaced the original buckle with a higher quality buckle and seems to do the trick. We would highly recommend these aggressive skates to any beginner aggressive skater!" | |

This is the answer for the defective scoter: “Depending on the decision we will made after inspecting the scooter, we will either refund you, repair it, or ask you to pay for shipping it back to you, in case it is not a regular warranty or claim case. I spent 3 days emailing back and forth and took pictures and video to make them see the error but still insisting that it is not faulty. The handle of the scooter stock and is loose, but they believe it is not faulty. Don’t shop here. Such poor customer service experience." | |

Getting charged twice (by e-tailer, and by shipper) is common folks. To SkatePro's credit they have kept angry reviews on this topic, each time, a well written reply is given, bravo SkatePro. I would like to see the estimated extra listed on the final invoice emailed to me...VAT estimate A (=$15.45 local GST) was only presented once, not later on final tally. Next day I got robocall from FedEx; only it shows up as unknown number for a diff amount C. C = A + B = $25.95 in my case. Subtract out FedEx fee (B = $10.50) and it proves accurate to the penny for A. Total + $19.00 Shipping + $25.95 to FedEx simple." | |

Reply from SkatePro: Hi Loring, On your order with SkatePro, you will not pay taxes and duties. These will be collected by the delivery company in the name of your local authorities, the CBSA. Their Website allows you to check your estimated taxes and duties beforehand, by using their calculator. We do also have such a calculator implemented now and as soon as you are about to check out it shows you an estimation. Please have in mind that the taxes and duties will be regulated and collected by Canadian customs, so they can vary a bit and probably not match the estimation.
