I purchased from Canada and although the SkatePro staff were amazing and very responsive; however, it was ultimately out of their hands when UPS lost my package numerous times (At one point, I was told my order was in USA, Germany, Denmark, AND Canada simultaneously). Also when I received my package (much later) one side was completely soaked, to the point the box was actually disintegrating when I opened it. I checked the skate for damage.. I *believe* they were fine since the side of the box that had the water damage had the skates that were inside plastic bags (had it been the other side, my USD Aeons would have suffered as they were packaged in linen bags. Again, I understand this is a UPS problem primarily, however I just wanted to sure this experience with everyone. The SkatePro staff helped as much as they could. If you can get FedEx and not UPS for delivery, I would reccomend" | |

Under the contact portion of the page there is a Canadian phone number with a Toronto area code. Actual company is located in DENMARK. My son spent all of his birthday money on a new scooter set-up and when it arrived, he was hit with an import bill for $91.00 on top of what he had spent. If you look closely, in the shipping area it says items ship from DENMARK. I feel a bit burned to be honest, but I guess that is on me in the end. There was nothing wrong with the product or the speed of shipping, but if you think you are supporting a Canadian store, or avoiding import fees, think again. I reached out and was told that someone named Justin would get back to me right away, but we never did hear from him. I can't leave a great review based on our experience." | |
