Sale season is underway for snowboard gear, and SkatePro advertises slightly better pricing than other sites. However, the bindings I ordered ended up being incorrectly advertised--I didn't receive the product the website indicated. I tried to return the bindings and carefully explained why this was a mistake on SkatePro's website, but they wouldn't provide a return shipping label or a suitable discount adjustment. I expected them to at least send the free return shipping label, which is probably $12 for them since businesses get volume discounts from FedEx, but they wouldn't budge. Take-home message--be wary of advertised product details, there can be mistakes that would mislead you to make a purchase that isn't the product you think it is." | |

The product name, description, specifications and photos all show that they are Now Drive bindings. The price of the product shouldn't be a determining factor of the model, since we don't have to match our prices to the manufacturer's prices. Prices depend on the local market and other factors as well. The issue revolved around the fact that the order was not placed as package, as intended. The items were ordered individually and so, did not have the discounted price they would have had, had they been ordered as a package. The package has optionals and, for that reason, the system can't recognize that the two items (snowboard and bindings) are a part of a package that also includes two other optionals. Upon contact, we simply explained that the order was not placed as it should have if the package was to be considered. I apologize if you felt like there were any "customer service tactics" employed on your case. That was certainly not the case.
