My board came in a huge sturdy box and burton recycled paper board bag and was in perfect condition when it arrived. Contrast the last board I purchased through mailorder, a LibTech Skate Banana, which arrived in a damaged box where I could see the actual board through the huge holes in the packaging (that board only lasted 13 months before a rail separated from the deck- perhaps due to the sketchy shipping process when I first received it). Binding mounting plates I ordered arrived missing 6 of 8 screws (of a very particular, hard-to-find variety not available at any local hardware stores -- I tried). I notified SkatePro of the problem immediately; they referred to their claims department. In the end, they generously shipped me 2 more pairs of mounting plates but it took 14 days (6 days before parts were shipped, 8 more for delivery). A much better response (what I asked for) would have been to expedite shipping and delivery of an envelope or very small box with just the 6 screws I needed. Instead, I had to scrounge at ski shops to replace the missing binding mounting screws during my trip." | |
