However, unlike other international suppliers I got stung badly by customs fees, admin/fedex fees and taxes. Added more than 15% to the cost... it would have been cheaper and simpler to purchase here. Skatepro simply hid behind terms buried in their website. On the standard purchasing page of the website is written Taxes "0%" and Delivery "free" ... stupid me I should have assumed this did not mean what was written!! What a really crap experience. I still have not even opened my purchase as I'm so disappointed. Just sits there in the box. Ruined what had been a much anticipated purchase, years in the planning. My email feedback to Skatepro over two weeks ago is still unanswered." | |

Due to this reason, customs fee and tax apply to orders. However, the amount of the customs fee and tax is calculated by the local tax authorities, therefore we can't tell our customers how much they will have to pay, but we do inform them that they will have to pay these separately. Not only is this shown on our Shipping information page, but it's also clearly shown at the checkout, right before completing the order. On 16/02 the order was in delivery again, with the same outcome- nobody present to collect the parcel. You were informed that you can pick up the order from a specific depot. After not picking the parcel, you have contacted SkatePro on 1/3 to which we have contacted the delivery company to redeliver for the last time which happeed after weekend on the 4/3 - the parcel was delivered to you. Even worse they left behind sharp, twisted metal that he cut his finger on. When I applied for a refund I was told this was wear and tear and the refund was declined. For SkatePro to deem a £39 knee pad dangerously failing within five uses by a child as being normal wear and tear and to decline a refund is unacceptable." | |
