Press release by Rottefella in 2021 says anyone who bought these should obtain a lock free from Rottefella and retrofit. Retailers should not be selling these 1.5 years later and letting the customer deal with it or worse skate at speed with potentially dangerous faulty bindings. Poles were also faulty. Both had no glue on the speed locks so they fell apart simply being pulled from the pack. Leki recommended tip glue but Skate pro refused to send me any. They waited a week after my email the day after they arrived to say send them back and once we get them we can send others out. I fixed them myself and at my own expense. Poor experience and I won’t be back." | |

However, we offered to help you with the situation, but you insisted on solving it on your own. As for the poles, we apologize that they arrived faulty. We wanted to send you a replacement, which you didn't accept. We work together with our suppliers and in case of claims, we have to follow what they advise. The reason why we didn't ask you in our first email to send the poles back was that your case wasn't evaluated by our Claim Department yet. We tried to help with our knowledge, but when that wasn't sufficient enough, we opened your claim case.
