Thomas on Tour

On July 19th, 2024, Thomas Keesman set out on an extraordinary longboarding adventure. His goal was to traverse the 1,020-kilometer distance from Gothenburg, Sweden, to his hometown of Ede in the Netherlands within three weeks.

A devoted longboarder with a background in long-distance skating, Thomas decided to challenge himself while raising funds for Alzheimer Nederland. This non-profit organization is focused on improving the lives of those affected by Alzheimer’s and their families, as well as supporting scientific research into Alzheimer’s treatment and care.

Thomas’ request was simple for us. He needed some gear for his journey, and recognizing the importance of his cause and its positive impact, we were delighted to provide him with a few essentials.

We equipped Thomas with longboard products and apparel to help him tackle the elements during his long expedition.

Surpassing his own expectations, Thomas completed his journey and returned to the Netherlands in just 15 days, traversing Sweden, Denmark, and Germany.

In addition, he successfully raised an impressive €3500 for Alzheimer Nederland. Well done!
