Price Match Policy
We at SkatePro do everything we can to offer you the best products at the best price possible. Feel free to let us know if you find a product elsewhere at a lower price, and we'll explore the possibility of matching that price for you.
To Qualify for a Price Match, Please Ensure the Following:
- The product must be identical in features, size, color, and specifications.
- The product on the competitor's website must be in stock and available for direct order to your shipping address.
- The price match will consider shipping, delivery fees, and applicable taxes that might be applied on the competitor's website. Meaning: if the product costs $100 on the competitor’s website and the shipping is an extra $30, the match will be up to $130.
- Price matches are only available before the purchase.
- The price difference must be substantial and at least $5.
- The competitor’s site is a Canada-based website.
- We can’t price match items on sale - this includes client-specific deals, vouchers, and/or one-time promotions offered by a competitor, general sales, or seasonal sales (e.g., Cyber Monday, Singles' Day, Black Friday, Christmas, etc.).
- The item involved in the price match cannot be for re-selling, and there can be no limitations to the purchasing amount.
- The competitor is not an auction website, such as eBay, or a site that offers sales through third-party sellers, such as Amazon.
- Your price match request doesn’t involve Special Order/Drop-ship Items.
- We only match product prices, not services such as shipping, mounting, or workshop handling. Meaning: if the price of a product is lower in our shop, but the shipping cost is higher, we do not match the full cost.
- Price matching can not be combined with other promotions or discounts.
How Can You Apply for Price Matching?
If you find a product on SkatePro that is cheaper on another website, and all the above-stated requirements are met, leave a comment at checkout including the link to the product on the competitor's site and the name of the competitor.
Our team will review your price match request before invoicing and shipping the order.
Please note that it can take up to 72 hours (or more, during busy periods) to assess the case, meaning a possible delay compared to the expected delivery time shown at check-out.
If your price match request is approved, we will credit the price difference.
Please note: The approval of a price match request is subject to our discretion.
Your request will not be approved if it doesn’t meet the above-mentioned criteria, or if the price difference is so significant that your order’s value would not cover the processing costs.
We assess every case independently, so it will not be possible to appeal to previous resolutions to claim your price match.
