Paid Marketing Specialist

We provide customer service in 20 languages and sell to 40 countries, specializing in action sports products — ranging from skateboards and stunt scooters to skis and other gear. As a company continuously evolving, we are looking for a highly skilled Paid Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic team.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Paid Marketing Specialist to drive our paid advertising efforts. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the field, with a proven track record of managing successful paid marketing campaigns. This role involves working closely with the Marketing Manager to refine our advertising strategy, with a particular focus on Google Paid and expansion into platforms like Meta, YouTube and TikTok.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead position in a 3-person team
- Develop, manage, and optimise paid marketing campaigns across platforms (Google Ads, YouTube, Meta, etc.)
- Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to create and implement a data-driven paid marketing strategy to boost the company’s revenue and brand presence
- Regularly analyze campaign performance, providing insights and actionable recommendations
- Ensure optimal ROI on ad spend by applying best practises and ongoing adjustments
- Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in paid marketing to maintain a competitive edge
- Assist in developing ad creatives and targeting strategies tailored to each platform and audience
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in paid marketing
- Drive and passion for optimization and achieving measurable results
- A "pragmatic theoretician" with a commercial flair
- Master-level education (e.g., economics, marketing, mathematics) preferred, though we also welcome career jumpers with strong relevant experience
- Proven experience in optimising campaigns to meet specific goals (e.g., conversions, traffic, awareness)
- Solid mastery of paid marketing principles, including keyword research, ad copywriting, A/B testing, and bid management
- Trustworthy and with high personal integrity
- Strong analytical skills and experience with all of Google’s paid marketing tools
- Excellent communication skills, with English at a high level and a basic understanding of Danish
- Knowledge and experience with other platforms such as YouTube and Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram), and TikTok
Bonus Skills:
- Experience in the action sports industry or e-commerce
- Familiarity with international market dynamics
- Understanding of the latest trends in performance marketing and digital advertising
Location & Work Environment:
This position is based at our headquarters at Omega 6, 8382 Hinnerup, Denmark. While we expect the person to work primarily on-site, we offer flexibility, allowing for partial remote work when necessary.
