Scootering: A Sport for Everyone
Scootering is an enjoyable sport suitable for all ages and skill levels. Not only does riding a scooter provide a fantastic cardio workout, it also strengthens your leg muscles and core. Riding enhances balance and coordination, benefiting performance in other sports and activities. While kick scooters date back to the 1920s, it wasn't until the 1990s that modern aluminium scooters became popular.
Pro Scooters: Built for Tricks
Pro scooters, or trick scooters, are especially used in skateparks, urban environments, and parking lots. These models are crafted for tricks and aggressive riding and they excel in withstanding pressure and wear. Because of these demands, contemporary pro scooters are designed to be lightweight yet sturdy. It is also quite common to personalize trick scooters by replacing worn-out parts or adding a unique aesthetic. Unlike some other types, pro scooters typically cannot be folded.
Big Wheel Scooters: Easy Transportation
For transportation needs, scooters with large wheels, at least 120 mm in diameter, are recommended. These scooters, often referred to as commuter scooters, are primarily intended for adults seeking a fun and healthy method to get around town. Kids' scooters usually fit this category and may have either two or three wheels. Big wheel scooters are often foldable, making them convenient to take on public transit, to the office, or to school. Large wheels offer excellent directional stability and can handle bumps and small cracks in the road effortlessly.
