Heat Molding Instructions
1. Boil water (you'll require approximately 3 cups of boiling water per boot).
2. As the water heats up, roll down the cuffs of your Solite boots and position them in a sink.
3. If you plan to wear your Solite Heat Booster socks inside the boots, put them on now.
4. Once the water reaches a full rolling boil, carefully pour it into your Solite boots (in the sink), filling each one just below the seam where the neoprene upper meets the sole. Refer to the photo for guidance.
5. Let stand for 5 minutes to allow the boiling water to soften the sole material.
6. After 5 minutes, cautiously pour out the hot water from one Solite boot at a time, and swiftly rinse the inside of the boot with cold water to bring down the surface temperature and avoid burning. Test with your hand to ensure comfort as you will want your foot to fit in while it's warm but not uncomfortable.
7. Insert your foot into your Solite boot, wearing the Heat Booster sock if regular use is intended. Ensure your big toe fits comfortably in the toe cavity and that your heel sits snugly in the heel pocket.
8. Repeat Steps 6 and 7 for the other boot.
9. Fasten boot ankle straps if applicable.
10. Walk around in your Solite boots for the next 10-15 minutes to allow them to mould comfortably to your feet as they cool.
11. Once your Solite Boots have returned to room temperature, the moulding process is complete.
12. If you're dissatisfied with the fit, you can remould your Solite boots by repeating the above steps. Your Solite boots should feel absolutely comfortable, almost like a natural extension of your foot.
