Advice and Recommendations from SkatePro
- Get an adult to help with the assembly
- Use the proper tools
- Expect to spend at least 3 hours on assembly if you haven't done it before
- Choose parts from the same brand and with compatible dimensions
- Bear in mind that lightweight parts are usually more fragile than heavier parts
- We recommend all serious riders to choose a threadless headset and fork with a compression system
- When you receive the package, check if you have everything and that the parts fit together before you start to assemble. (You can return new/unused parts)
- Always tighten all screws and nuts before riding and maintain the scooter as described in the manual. Replace defective components & spare parts
- As you continue to use your scooter, you will always experience some slack in the headset. Unfortunately, even expensive headsets are not immune to this and won't remain "silent" for long. (Often, tightening the compression system helps)
- Avoid water, sand, moist areas, and too many failed tricks ;)

The video demonstrates how to assemble a trick scooter using tools that are commonly available. At SkatePro, we use professional tools for assembly/disassembly of the headset and the crown race.
Shall We Assemble Your Scooter?
Unfortunately, we have seen many examples where custom scooters are assembled incorrectly or inadequately. This results in a scooter that doesn't function properly, and in many cases, the parts wear out quickly or get damaged easily.
If you want to ensure your scooter is assembled correctly, add custom scooter assembly to your order. SkatePro will then assemble your custom scooter.
