When exploring scooter bearings, you’ll frequently notice the term "ABEC." This rating system evaluates the bearing's precision on a scale from 1 to 9. A higher number indicates a greater "precision," suggesting smoother rotations. Nevertheless, bearings with a lower ABEC rating are generally quite sturdy, so a lower rating doesn't imply they won't be suitable for your setup.

The number 608 will also appear often. This indicates the bearing's size, which is the standard for scooters, skateboards, and skates, featuring an inner diameter of 8mm and an outer diameter of 22mm.
